DRX and GIANTX guarantee themselves playoffs

DRX and GIANTX confidently advanced to the playoffs, defeating Team Liquid and XLG Esports

The ninth day of the group stage of VALORANT Champions 2025 determined new participants in the tournament playoffs. They were the Korean team DRX and the European team GIANTX, who left no chances for their opponents in the fight for advancing to the next stage.

In the first match of the day, the team DRX once again confirmed their superiority over Team Liquid. Repeating the success of the previous meeting, the Korean players demonstrated a confident game and closed the series with a score of 2:0. This victory made DRX the fifth participant in the playoffs, while Team Liquid finished their performance in the championship, taking a place in the group 9-12.

In the second match, the European team GIANTX left no chances for the team XLG Esports. Demonstrating composure and precise actions in key moments, GIANTX confidently won with a score of 2:0 and secured themselves a place in the next stage of the competition. For XLG Esports, this defeat meant elimination from the tournament in the same positions 9-12.
