A major cyber sports tournament Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2025 begins. Over the course of a week, the 16 strongest teams in the world will compete for the championship title and a prize pool of $300,000.

The S-Tier event, organized by ESL, will take place offline from November 3 to 9, 2025, in China. The tournament promises to be one of the most significant autumn events in the world of Counter-Strike.

Competition Format

Group Stage:

• Two groups of eight teams in GSL format (double-elimination)

• All matches are played in a best-of-three format (Bo3)

• The top three teams from each group advance to the playoffs

Playoff Stage:

• Single-elimination bracket

• All matches, except the grand final, are played in a best-of-three format (Bo3)

• The grand final will be played in a best-of-five format (Bo5)
