NRG — champions of VALORANT Champions 2025

On October 5, 2025, the American team NRG became the winner of the main tournament of the year in VALORANT — VALORANT Champions 2025. In the grand final, the team defeated the European favorites Fnatic with a score of 3:2, taking the main prize of $1,000,000.

Path to the trophy

The grand final gave the audience an incredible five-map drama. NRG started the match confidently, taking the first two maps without much resistance from Fnatic. However, on the third map Abyss, the Europeans made an incredible comeback from a score of 1:11, turning the tide of the match. On Ascent, Fnatic continued their dominance, leveling the score in the series.

The deciding map was Sunset — an unexpected decider from NRG, which the team almost always banned throughout the tournament. The American team showed the highest level of play on this map, confidently closing it and becoming world champions.

Historical achievements

• The region Americas won the third Champions trophy in history

• Player BRAWK was recognized as the MVP of the tournament
