Yusuf Emre Proxh Tunc leaves Gentle Mates

Turkish player Yusuf Emre Proxh Tunc has officially left the team. This is already the second change in the roster in a short period — earlier the organization was also left by Sylvain Veqaj Pattyn.

The departure of the players became an expected consequence of the team's extremely unsuccessful performance in the second stage of the season. At VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 they showed the worst result, taking 11-12 place and failing to secure a single victory in the tournament.

The disastrous result in the second stage put an end to all the remaining ambitions of the team this season. Since Gentle Mates could not enter the top-8 teams of EMEA by the end of the year, they did not receive the right to participate in the upcoming tournament VCT Ascension EMEA 2025, where teams fight for a place in VCT EMEA.
