Day four of the playoffs of VALORANT Champions 2025: Fnatic and NRG reached the upper bracket final

On September 28, the first two semifinalists were determined at the VALORANT Champions 2025 tournament. The day brought bright and intense matches, in which the teams Fnatic and NRG proved their right to continue the fight for the title in the upper bracket final, sending their opponents, Paper Rex and MIBR, to the lower bracket.

In the first match of the day, the Europeans from Fnatic faced the Asian threat Paper Rex. The series became a demonstration of the champions' incredible willpower. Trailing on the decisive third map with a score of 1:9, Fnatic made a phenomenal comeback, winning 12 rounds in a row and closing the map with a score of 13:9. This victory was the culmination of their dominance in the second game of the series, which ultimately allowed them to close the confrontation with a score of 2:1.

The second match of the day was no less dramatic. The American team NRG achieved victory over the Brazilian MIBR in a tough battle. The first map ended with a minimal advantage of 16:14 in favor of NRG. On the second map, MIBR responded with a confident victory of 13:4, taking the series to the decisive map. There, despite all the problems, NRG once again showed resilience and closed the match with a score of 16:14. Notably, despite the overall victory in the series, none of the players from NRG managed to finish the match with a positive rating.
