The third stage of StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 has concluded: all playoff participants have been determined

In Budapest, the third and final group stage of the major Counter-Strike 2 tournament — StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 has concluded. After four days of intense competition, all eight teams that will continue to fight in the playoffs have been determined, as well as the final distribution of places and prizes for the participants who have completed their performance.

Following the stage results, the following teams advanced to the playoffs: Spirit, FURIA, MOUZ, Vitality, The MongolZ, FaZe, Natus Vincere and Falcons. They will continue to compete for the title and the largest share of the prize pool of $1,250,000 in the final stage, which will take place from December 11 to 14 at MVM Dome.

The remaining teams have completed their journey in the tournament, taking places from 9th to 16th. The prize distribution is as follows:

• 9–11 place $20,000 each: B8, G2, Passion UA

• 12–14 place $20,000 each: Imperial, 3DMAX, paiN Gaming

• 15–16 place $20,000 each: Liquid, PARIVISION

All playoff matches, except for the grand final, will be played in a best-of-three format. The decisive match for the championship title will be held in a best-of-five format.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 is entering the home stretch. This week, the strongest team will be determined at MVM Dome, which will lift the trophy and receive the main prize of the tournament.
