Wolves Esports and Paper Rex become the last participants of the playoffs

The Swiss stage of VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 has concluded, determining the last participants of the playoffs.

The first game for a spot in the playoffs was the match between Wolves Esports and Bilibili Gaming. Wolves Esports continue to gain form and confidently defeated Bilibili Gaming with a score of 2:0. Bilibili Gaming leave the tournament, finishing in 9th–10th place and receiving $25,000 in prize money.

The second game between Team Liquid and Paper Rex turned out to be incredibly spectacular. The last map was particularly notable, where Team Liquid almost made a comeback from a score of 1:11, but ultimately lost with a score of 1:2. Paper Rex advanced to the playoffs, while Team Liquid finished their performance in 9th–10th place, taking $25,000.

Playoff participants: Fnatic, G2 Esports, Rex Regum Qeon, XLG Esports, Sentinels, Gen.G Esports, Wolves Esports and Paper Rex.

During the broadcast, the winning teams of VCT 2025: Stage 1 in their regions chose their opponents from those who passed the Swiss stage. Rex Regum Qeon made the first choice, selecting Wolves Esports. Then XLG Esports chose Sentinels. G2 Esports preferred Paper Rex, and Fnatic, left without a choice, got Gen.G Esports, just like in VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Shanghai.

All playoff matches promise to be exciting and unpredictable, as already demonstrated by the Swiss stage.

VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 is taking place in Toronto, at the Enercare Centre. The tournament consists of a Swiss stage and a playoff stage. The prize pool is $1,000,000, and teams are also competing for VCT points for qualification to VALORANT Champions 2025.
