Leader joins PCIFIC Esports as a coach

PCIFIC Esports is building a new roster with coach Leader after the old lineup moved to BBL Esports

The organization PCIFIC Esports, previously known as BBL PCIFIC, is starting a new chapter in its history. Recall that the team under the tag BBL PCIFIC qualified for VCT through VCT Ascension EMEA 2025, where they defeated the team DNSTY in the final match with a score of 3:1.

However, after the successful promotion, structural changes occurred. The entire lineup that secured a spot in VCT moved under the main tag of the organization — BBL Esports. Thus, PCIFIC Esports became an independent project, which is now starting to form a team almost from scratch.

This appointment marks the beginning of a new phase for PCIFIC Esports after rebranding and structural changes. Now the organization will build the roster specifically around Leader, and with less than a month left before the start of VCT 2026, the upcoming weeks are critically important for team formation.

The career path of Kaan Leader Taşpınar as a coach includes working with top teams. In 2025, he briefly led the Brazilian LOUD at VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2, where the team finished in 11-12th place, ending their performance in the last position.

However, Leader received much more recognition for his work with the women's team G2 Gozen. Under his leadership, the team dominated the women's segment, winning numerous titles, including the championship at VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 and VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA Stage 2. These successes shaped his reputation as a tactical specialist.

Currently, PCIFIC Esports officially consists only of the head coach. It is expected that in the coming weeks, the organization will announce the signing of players who will form the core of the team for competing in VCT EMEA.
