Nemiga bench riskyb0b and take shalfey on loan

The Belarusian club Nemiga continues rebuilding its roster. After the January update, the management decided to move 23-year-old Maksim "riskyb0b" Churikov to the bench, who had been in the starting five for more than two years and had recently taken over the IGL role.

Coach Anton "boX" Burko explained that riskyb0b took the role change seriously, but the team does not have the time to calmly implement all the changes on the harsh tier-2 scene.

To replace him, Nemiga brought in Aleksandr "shalfey" Marenov from 9 Pandas on loan, which the club announced on X: https://x.com/nemigagg/status/2020846421558046838. Previously, shalfey had been seen in FORZE and 9 Pandas, and recently played for the mix 9BOOMPRO after 9 Pandas benched their entire roster in the spring of 2025. In Nemiga he will likely become the IGL again.

riskyb0b joined Nemiga in December 2023, helped bring the team into the top 19 of the VRS ranking and reach Stage 3 at BLAST.tv Austin Major. But after the sale of star player Ivan "zweih" Gogin to Spirit, the results declined, and by 2026 the club had launched a hard rebuild.

The current Nemiga starting lineup looks as follows: Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin, Maksim "sowalio" Beketov, Beksultan "khaN" Ospan, Daniel "syph0" Ageyev, and the on-loan shalfey. On the bench remain riskyb0b and Aliaksandr "1eeR" Nahorny, while coach boX is in charge of the team.
