VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 has started

Today marks the start of VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 — a tournament that promises to be a true spectacle! Over the next four days, eight teams will compete for four playoff spots. The Swiss system, which this stage follows, makes almost every match unpredictable, and the intensity is guaranteed.

Among the participants are the uncrowned kings of their regions: Team Heretics and Sentinels. They are joined by the tournament's dark horses — Paper Rex, Wolves Esports, Team Liquid, and Bilibili Gaming, whose rapid progress is impressive. MIBR might also surprise, having prepared something special after their setback at the Esports World Cup 2025: Americas Qualifier. Don't discount the experienced team Gen.G, who, despite losing their former glory, can still surprise.

Today, we have two thrilling matches ahead. At 18:00 CEST, Team Heretics will face Paper Rex. This match is a real enigma: both teams have avoided actively using the agent Tejo, unlike other teams, and seem to have prepared in advance for its weakening by the developers. Viewers can expect a tense battle where tactics will decide everything.

The second match of the day will start at 21:00 CEST, where Team Liquid will meet Bilibili Gaming. At first glance, the favorite is obvious, but the situation is complicated: Team Liquid captain Ayaz nAts Akhmetshin will not be able to play due to visa issues. He will be replaced by Erik penny Penny. The loss of nAts, who is not only the heart of the team but also its main firepower, makes the match outcome unpredictable. For Bilibili Gaming, this is a unique chance to make a statement and prove their strength.

At the end of the Swiss stage, four teams will advance to the playoffs, where they will be awaited by regional leaders — G2 Esports, Fnatic, Rex Regum Qeon, and XLG Esports. These teams will have the right to choose their opponents from the advancing teams. The playoffs will take place from June 13 to 22 and will include four rounds, including the grand final and lower bracket matches.

VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 is held in Toronto, at the Enercare Centre. The tournament is divided into two phases: the Swiss stage and the playoffs. The prize pool is $1,000,000, but teams will also compete for VCT points needed for qualification to VALORANT Champions 2025. Follow the broadcasts — it will be an unforgettable show!
