Hermes joins DRX

Ahn Hermes Byeong-wook joins DRX as a replacement for retired Flashback

The Korean organization DRX has announced the signing of player Ahn Hermes Byeong-wook. He has joined the main roster and will take the spot that opened up after veteran Cho Flashback Min-hyuk retired.

The newcomer joins DRX from another Korean team — FearX. In the 2025 season, together with this team, Ahn Hermes Byeong-wook competed in the national Challengers events. His best results were 2nd place at VALORANT Challengers 2025 Korea: Road to Ascension in September and 3rd place at VALORANT Challengers 2025 Korea: Stage 3 in August. The team also took 4th place at VALORANT Challengers 2025 Korea: Stage 2 in June and became the champion of VALORANT Challengers 2025 Korea: Stage 1 in March.

This transfer comes after a successful but somewhat disappointing season for DRX. The team won VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff in February and claimed the Asian Champions League 2025 title in May. Their main achievement of the year was 3rd place at VALORANT Champions 2025 in October.

The DRX coaching staff led by Pycon termi Seon-ho remains unchanged.
