Gen.G Esports break into the first place in the group
Results of the first day of the third week VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2
Korean teams showed mixed results in today's matches. Gen.G Esports confirmed their status as the leader of group Alpha, while T1 unexpectedly lost to the Thai team.
The Korean team demonstrated absolute superiority, especially on the first map 13:3, where Team Secret managed to take only three rounds. On the second map 13:8 Team Secret showed some resistance, but it was not enough against the cohesive play of Gen.G Esports. Now the Koreans with a result of 3-1 firmly hold the first position in group Alpha.
The Thai team presented the main surprise of the day, confidently outplaying the favorites from T1. The second map 13:6 was particularly impressive, where Talon Esports completely controlled the course of the game. This victory brings them to second place in group Omega with the prospect of fighting for first place in the upcoming match against Paper Rex.

About the tournament:
VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 is held in Seoul at the Sangam SOOP Colosseum from July 15 to August 31. The tournament is a qualifier for VALORANT Champions 2025 with a prize pool of $250,000. The two best teams will receive direct tickets to the world championship, and two more teams will qualify through the VCT points system.
