The Huns go to PGL Astana 2026

The Mongolian roster of The Huns secured the only slot for PGL Astana 2026 by winning the Asian closed qualifier

In the grand final of the Asia Closed Qualifier, the team crushed DEPO with a 3:0 score in a best-of-five series. The match took place on April 2, 2026, and the Mirage, Inferno, and Dust2 maps ended 13:9, 13:4, and 13:9 respectively. The tournament in Astana with a prize pool of $800,000 will be held from May 7 to 17.

Only three teams took part in the Asian closed qualifier — from East Asia, West Asia, and Oceania. DEPO first got past Ground Zero, but in the final could not put up a fight against The Huns.

For The Huns, this will be the first big LAN after the winter transfer window: in January the team was strengthened by Unudelger controlez Baasanjargal, who replaced Anarbileg cobrazera Uuganbayar.

The Huns also still have a chance to qualify for Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major 2026 through the XSE GangKui Cup Season 2 Finals in Shanghai, where their next opponent will be TYLOO — a direct rival in the battle for the slot.
