Spirit and FURIA advance to the playoffs of StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 with a score of 3-0

The first participants of the playoffs of StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 and the first to be eliminated from the third stage have been determined

In Budapest, the major tournament of Counter-Strike 2 — StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 continues. In the third stage, which takes place from December 4 to 7 in the Swiss system format, the first teams that secured a place in the playoffs, as well as the first teams to leave the tournament, have been determined.

The first to overcome the group stage and advance to the playoffs with a perfect score of 3–0 were:

• FURIA — confidently passed their opponents with a total round score of 52:23 and a difference of +29;

• Spirit — also completed the stage without losses, achieving victories with a total round difference of +20.

At the same time, the first two teams to be eliminated from the tournament in the third stage, taking 15–16 places with a result of 0–3, were determined:

• Liquid — lost all three matches with a round difference of -14;

• PARIVISION — also completed their performance without victories, losing in decisive matches.

We remind you that StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 takes place in Budapest from November 24 to December 14. The tournament prize pool is $1,250,000. The playoffs, which FURIA and Spirit have reached, start on December 11 at MVM Dome.

The fight for the remaining six playoff spots continues — there are still two more game days of the third stage ahead, where the remaining participants of the final stage of the tournament will be determined.
