Rare Atom pick up x9 and switch to a six-player roster
The Chinese team Rare Atom, ahead of the decisive closed qualifiers for CS Asia Championships, has signed former FengDa player JiaMing x9 Li and switched to a six-man lineup.
x9 is already the second departure from FengDa in three months: in December, Shengxuan chengking Zu joined Rare Atom.
The start of the season has not gone well for Rare Atom: an exit in the quarterfinals of Zhi-Tech Elite Masters 2026, as well as failed qualifiers for BLAST Open Spring 2026 and PGL Bucharest 2026. The team is currently only sixth in Asian VRS and is outside the qualification zone for IEM Cologne Major.
