paiN signs vsm and piriajr

The Brazilian organization paiN has completed its roster overhaul for the 2026 season, officially confirming the signing of Vinicius "vsm" Moreira and Guilherme "piriajr" Barbosa. The latter joins the team on loan from Bounty Hunters.

Previously, according to Dust2.com.br, the club was in talks with vsm and the Portuguese player Michel "ewjerkz" Pinto, but the deal with ewjerkz fell through, and paiN turned to piriajr instead.

The newcomers will replace David "dav1deuS" Tapia Maldonado and Franco "dgt" Garcia, who were benched after a series of poor results. Over the past year, vsm posted a 1.29 rating across 253 maps with Keyd Stars, while piriajr recorded 1.21 while playing for Fluxo and Bounty Hunters.

The revamped paiN lineup is set to debut at the BLAST Bounty S1 tournament, which kicks off on January 12.
