Legacy officially signed arT

An unexpected twist has emerged on the Brazilian scene: Legacy have suddenly changed their captain and signed Andrei "arT" Piovezan from Fluxo, sending former in-game leader Lucas "lux" Meneghini to the bench.

For arT this is a quick return from the bench: at the start of the year it was Fluxo who put him on the bench. Now he will lead Legacy, who slumped sharply after an impressive 2025 with the CS Asia Championships title, second place at PGL Masters Bucharest, and a peak at 8th place in the global VRS rankings.

The new season started as a failure for Legacy: elimination in last place in Stage 1 IEM Krakow after losses to BC.Game and FUT, and only third place at BetBoom Rush B Summit Season 1. The string of failures made lux the first candidate to be removed from the lineup.

arT arrives with 19 months of experience as captain of Fluxo, with whom he attended two Majors and collected regional trophies in South America, but was never able to break into the top 30 of the HLTV and VRS rankings or make deep runs at major international tournaments.

Fans will be able to see the renewed Legacy at ESL Pro League Season 23, which starts on March 1.
