The career of Finn karrigan Andersen in FaZe is coming to an end after a failed attempt to qualify for Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major 2026. According to French insider Sebastien KRL Perez, the captain is ready to join Falcons. The deal is expected to be completed after Falcons play at Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2026.
The Dane is expected to replace Damjan kyxsan Stoilkovski, thus ending the North Macedonian’s one-and-a-half-year captaincy in Falcons.
The news came a week after FaZe’s desperate attempt to reach Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major 2026. The team was already on the verge of dropping out of the race due to poor results at top tournaments, and failures at DraculaN Season 6 and HLC Belgrade PRO left them out of contention.
After being eliminated from PGL Bucharest 2026, which happened right after losing their chances for Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major 2026, karrigan admitted that, for the first time, he seriously thought about his future in FaZe. He stated that the team’s results are unacceptable for a leader of his caliber and that he is ready to leave if it helps bring FaZe back to the top.
The move to Falcons will be the first roster change for the Saudi organization since the signing of Maksim kyousuke Lukin in June of last year. Since then, Falcons have not won a single trophy, finishing second at ESL Pro League Season 22, BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 and BLAST Bounty Winter 2026.
The potential transfer will reunite karrigan with his long-time FaZe teammate Nikola NiKo Kovač and bring him together again with coach Danny zonic Sørensen, with whom he worked in Astralis in 2016.
After Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2026, Falcons will play at PGL Astana 2026 and CS Asia Championships in May. FaZe have just over two weeks left to determine their starting five for BLAST Rivals 2026 Season, which starts on April 29.
