HEROIC bench yxngstxr

During the off-season, HEROIC continue to overhaul their roster. The club has sent 21-year-old Swede Simon "yxngstxr" Boije to the bench, ending his almost year-long stint in the starting lineup.

This is already the second change: earlier Linus "LNZ" Holtäng was benched, and Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard became the new IGL.

yxngstxr joined at the start of 2025 together with LNZ and Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç, when HEROIC picked up the Sangal core. Back then the team won CCT Global Finals and MESA Nomadic Masters Spring and reached Stage 2 BLAST.tv Austin Major.

But in the second half of the year chaos began: the leading players left for bigger clubs, coach Eetu "sAw" Saha also departed the lineup, and the experiment with Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin failed. Results collapsed, and the team couldn’t qualify for StarLadder Budapest Major.

Statistically, yxngstxr was the second-worst player in HEROIC with a 0.99 rating, even though he didn’t play star positions.
