Fluxo part ways with coach tacitus

The Brazilian organization Fluxo has parted ways with head coach Marcos "tacitus" Castilho after an unsuccessful start to the 2026 season. His stint at the club lasted 21 months.

This is already the second major restructuring in recent weeks: in January the team benched captain Andrei "arT" Piovezan and signed Raphael "exit" Lacerda from MIBR in his place.

tacitus joined Fluxo in April 2024. Under his leadership the team qualified for BLAST.tv Austin Major and StarLadder Budapest Major, but was eliminated already in the first stage, finishing 15‑16th and 9‑11th. At home, however, Fluxo regularly lifted trophies — several CCT online tournaments and two LAN finals: Desafio Brasileiro de Esports Finals and Circuit X Retake São Paulo.

A breakthrough on the international stage never happened, and in 2026 the results collapsed: early exits from IEM Rio Americas Closed Qualifier and two local LANs dropped the team in the VRS ranking from 38th to 63rd place.

In a post about entering the free agency market on X the coach explained that the year was a "transitional" one: Fluxo changed owner and leader, and the pressure from poor early results pushed the club toward new staffing decisions.
