Faze and Vitality will meet in the grand final

The participants of the grand final of StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 have been determined

Two teams have been announced that will compete for the main title and $500,000 at StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 in Budapest. They are Vitality and FaZe.

Vitality, who seem to be regaining their championship form, confidently made it through the playoffs. In the quarterfinals, they crushed The MongolZ with a score of 2:0, and in the semifinals, they left no chance for Spirit, also securing a clean victory of 2:0.

Their opponents will be the legendary FaZe, whose journey in this major is a true miracle and a demonstration of character. The team was on the verge of elimination in the first stage of the tournament, but managed not only to recover but also to go through all the stages, reaching the decisive series. In the playoffs, FaZe first defeated MOUZ with a score of 2:0, and in an exciting semifinal, they overcame Natus Vincere with a score of 2:1.

Grand Final

The decisive battle for the major championship title will take place today, December 14, 2025. The match is scheduled to start at 18:00 CET.

The final format is best of three. The winner will not only receive $500,000 from the total prize pool of $1,250,000 but also etch their name in the history of Counter-Strike 2.

Recall, the tournament is held at two venues: the group stages took place at MTK Sportpark, and the playoffs moved to the large arena MVM Dome.
