FaNg will replace Senzu on Passion UA roster at IEM Rio

The Passion UA organization has announced that Mongolian rifler Azbayar Senzu Munkhbold will not be able to travel with the team to Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2026 due to ESL tournament requirements

Instead, the club has invited Canadian player Justin FaNg Coakley, who previously played for compLexity Gaming and NRG.

The team received an invitation to Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2026 via the Valve Regional Standings system on January 5, when the roster still included Michael Grim Wince and Nick nicx Lee. At that time, it was precisely the North American majority in the roster that allowed Passion UA to secure the only slot for North America.

At the end of February, Grim was moved to the bench to make room for Senzu. Thus, the team lost its North American majority and ran into ESL Pro Tour rule 2.7.3: to participate in the North American slot, the roster must contain more players from that subregion than from any other. Therefore, Passion UA were obliged to register a North American stand-in instead of one of the imports.

After parting ways with NRG in March 2024, FaNg played for several mix teams in North America and recently appeared for BOSS at the PGL Bucharest North America Closed Qualifier. In Rio he will reunite with his former Complexity teammates Johnny JT Theodosiou and coach Tiaan T.c Coertzen.
