FalleN will end his career by the end of 2026

“The Professor” announced that he will leave professional Counter-Strike at the end of 2026, finishing a journey of more than 20 years. Gabriel FalleN Toledo made the statement on stage at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, saying that in 247 days he will hang up his mouse. He noted that until the end of the year he intends to stay in the game, and then will move on to other projects within CS together with the fans, but already outside the server.

FalleN emphasized that he wants to help new players change their lives through the game, just as Counter-Strike once changed his own.

His path began back in the 1.6 era: he played at ESWC, WCG and IEM for Complexity and FireGamers. In CS:GO he made a name for himself with Luminosity and SK, winning two Majors in a row in 2015–2016 and turning Brazil into one of the centers of the global scene.

In addition to playing, the 34-year-old Brazilian became a mentor for an entire generation through the Games Academy project in Latin America, where he provided educational materials and a platform for matches and tournaments.

Later he played for MIBR and Liquid, and then once again reunited with his former Luminosity/SK teammates in the Last Dance lineup, which under the Imperial tag reached the Legends Stage at PGL Antwerp Major and touched the hearts of fans across the country.

FalleN will finish his career as captain and in-game leader in FURIA. With this team he won BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2, IEM Chengdu 2025 and FISSURE Playground 2, while simultaneously mentoring the young Danil molodoy Golubenko, who became Rookie of the Year and took sixth place in HLTV’s 2025 player ranking.
