ENCE promote academy roster to the main team
The club ENCE has unexpectedly decided to bet on youth: the entire ENCE Academy roster has been moved to the main lineup
The management openly says that this is only a transitional stage while the organization is planning long-term changes.
In their statement, ENCE emphasize that the academy players are being given a chance “to earn a place in the main team”, but in parallel the club will look for and trial players outside its current structure. The goal is to calmly assemble a new core of the team.
This step is a logical continuation of ENCE's course toward a return to Finnish Counter-Strike. The organization previously announced that it wants to build a roster centered once again around Finnish talents.
The academy system has been operating since 2022 and has already produced results: through it, Paavo podi Heiskanen and Ville myltsi Vilkman have broken into the main team. Now new players are getting their chance.
Former academy player Henri HENU Ylilehto has returned to the roster, replacing Matti Matz Alatalo, who is leaving the club and entering free agency.
Current ENCE roster:
Aleksi millert Lehtopuu
Teemu teme Korva
Niki Cliqq Kinnunen
Henri HENU Ylilehto
Giorgi Schwarz Gakhokidze
