BLAST Bounty Finals semifinal pairs determined

BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 Finals continues in Malta, and at the second stage of the tournament viewers are waiting for the first head-to-head meeting of the year between m0NESY and ZywOo.

The semifinal pairs were formed during a live draft show. Vitality, the third seed, chose their opponent between FURIA (#1) and Falcons (#2) and predictably pointed to Falcons. Falcons are playing with a stand-in — academy player Matej "NucleonZ" Trajkoski, who is replacing the absent Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin.

Vitality coach Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam explained the choice by the opponent’s weakened lineup and the map pool, but reminded that G2 with NiKo and m0NESY had once already beaten them with a stand-in in Dallas.

The second semifinal pair is PARIVISION vs FURIA. PARIVISION captain Ivan "zweih" Gogin warned that his team will not underestimate the Brazilians and noted the form of molodoy. FURIA coach Sid "sidde" Macedo said that he respects PARIVISION and Jame, recalling that he has Jame’s pupil — YEKINDAR — on his roster.

The semifinals will take place on January 24: Vitality vs Falcons (18:00 CET, match), PARIVISION vs FURIA (21:00 CET, match).
